My Imaginary Life

I have an imaginary life with my imaginary wife
Filled with Happily Ever After. Free from any strife,
To keep our joy rife we hang upon the rafter a box of canned laughter.

The box goes Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho! Tee hee! Tee hee! Yo ho! Yo ho!

Our family also has got an imaginary tot who's the class clown at his school.
A trouble he's not. He loves us a lot and laughs a lot as a rule.
He goes, etc.

We take imaginary trips on imaginary ships to places all over the earth.
With our smiling lips we drink deep or take sips. Guzzle beer for all it's worth.
We go, etc.

My wife will never discover my imaginary lover with whom I fantasize in bed.
Under the bed cover, I think only of her. Wish she were with me instead.
I go, etc.

My life that is real is no big deal. It's almost unbearably plain.
So what? I can feel the enormous appeal of going completely insane.
Ha! etc
